
Professor Godwin Emmanuel Oyedokun is a distinguished academic, global scholar- practitioner, and multidisciplinary professional with an exceptional background in accounting, finance, taxation, and forensic auditing. With over two decades of experience across academia, consulting, professional training, and leadership, he brings to Edgeford Business School a rare combination of intellectual depth, practical expertise, and visionary leadership as its Executive Dean.
Widely regarded as one of the most credentialed academics in his field, Professor Oyedokun holds more than 30 professional certifications from highly respected local and international bodies. He is currently a Professor of Management and Accounting at Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria, and serves in various academic roles globally, including visiting and adjunct professorships at Charisma University (UK/West Indies), Coal City University, Igbinedion University, Babcock University,
South-Western University, McPherson University, among others. He is also a faculty member at Joseph Business School (Chicago/Lagos) and has served as an international faculty for Mississippi State University’s Continuing Education Programs in Lagos.
A prolific researcher and supervisor, Professor Oyedokun has successfull supervised more than 115 BSc projects, 6 PGD projects, 32 MSc dissertations, and 21 PhD theses in Nigeria and internationally. His scholarly contributions include over
120 peer-reviewed articles, 40 professional papers, 20 conference presentations, 10 book chapters, 7 edited volumes, and 23 authored books. He currently serves as a postgraduate research supervisor at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and as an external examiner for undergraduate programmes in Accountancy at Abia State University, Uturu, and Atiba University, Oyo.
As a sought-after thought leader and conference speaker, he has delivered more than 787 technical papers at seminars, workshops, and executive training programs across Africa, Europe, and North America. In addition, he serves as an examiner for multiple professional bodies within and outside Nigeria. Professor Oyedokun is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School and Joseph Business School, Chicago, where he continues to engage in policy advisory,
leadership development, and executive education. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and shaping the future of business education in Africa.
